Code of Meeting Practice revised again

The Code of Meeting Practice that determines the rules for Central Coast Council meetings has been revised for the fourth time since September, 2016, and more changes may be on the way.
The latest version includes changes to the lead times for making Council’s meeting agenda available, resulting in a two-month transition period to accommodate necessary administrative changes.
The draft of the latest revised code was exhibited and only one submission was received, with no changes made as a result of comments from that submission.
The latest version of the code, as adopted at the ordinary meeting of Council on February 12, does not specify when the agenda will be made available to Councillors or the public.
