Man injured after falling off roof

The CareFlight medical team flew to Bateau Bay on July 6, to treat a 32-year-old man with head injuries.
The man was replacing roof tiles at his home when he slipped and fell.
Paramedics assessed the man before starting treatment and making the decision to task CareFlight to attend.
CareFlight’s rapid response rescue helicopter was tasked shortly after 2pm, landing at nearby EDSACC Oval, off the Central Coast Highway.
CareFlight’s specialist doctor and critical care paramedic provided additional treatment at the scene to stabilise the man, intubating him.
The medical crew continued treatment as they took the patient, by helicopter, to Royal North Shore Hospital, in a serious but stable condition
