A man has died in hospital after being seriously assaulted outside the Imperial Shopping Centre, Gosford.
Around 8pm on Tuesday, November 6, two men aged 20 and 57, had a verbal argument inside the shopping centre on Erina St. As reported in Coast Community News edition 195, the two men had a physical altercation leading to the older man being hospitalised with critical head injuries.
On Thursday, November 8, the 57-year-old man died in hospital. At the time, the 20-year-old man was arrested and charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and recklessly cause grievous bodily harm. He remains before the court and investigations are continuing.
