Rescued from a burning building

Two people were rescued from a burning building in Springfield on January 8.
Crews from Fire and Rescue NSW were called to a home on Marshdale Rd, Springfield, just before 6am, to reports of a house alight.
Upon entering the house, firefighters located and extracted a 50-year-old woman and her 20-year-old son.
Crews then commenced the process of extinguishing the fire, which was contained to a bedroom.
Both occupants were conveyed to Gosford Hospital suffering from smoke inhalation.
