Man arrested for aggravated robbery at an Erina pub

A man has been charged following an alleged aggravated robbery at an Erina pub.
At about 5:30pm on Saturday, February 2, a 38-year-old man followed a 24-year-old woman into the bathroom of a licensed premises on The Entrance Rd, Erina.
Police will allege he demanded money that she had recently won, before punching and elbowing her in the head.
The man ran from the venue as other patrons rendered assistance to the woman.
Officers from Brisbane Water Police District arrested the 38-year-old man a short distance away, and took him to Gosford Police Station.
The 24-year-old woman was taken to Gosford Hospital in a stable condition to be treated for injuries to her face, head, and arm.
He was charged with aggravated robbery, and refused bail to appear at Gosford Bail Court.
