James Vale Reserve upgrade nearly complete

Work is underway on upgrading James Vale Reserve, Mannering Park.
It is expected that work should be completed by the end of March and will include removing the existing play equipment and installing a new inclusive play space.
This will include an active play zone that will include a slide with mound, nest swing, wave rider, reed talking tubes, play panels, tandem bull rider and nature climbing logs; a quiet nook, sensory planting, pathways and bench seating.
The plinth and plaque honouring, James Vinrace Vale, will remain an integral part of the reserve.
The park commemorates Vale who was a founder and pioneer of Mannering Park.
