What is it that gets us through the horrors of war, natural disasters and tragedies like Christchurch?
It is not the blind hatred of a supposed and always collective enemy.
It is the awareness of the goodness of caring individuals, ordinary people and the spirit of true humanity.
It is those, who see beyond the barriers of nationality and race and proclaim the intrinsic worth of dignity of every human being.
It is surely they who save us from cruelty and barbarism and give us hope for our common future.
