Woy Woy Pirates Swim Club sent a contingent of young swimmers to the Swimming NSW 2019 Junior State Age Championships held at Homebush Bay Pool from March 30-31.
The club had nine swimmers appear in 29 individual events and two relays.
While none of Woy Woy’s competitors came away with medals, all nine entrants contested the finals of their various events.
Casey Stone was the club’s highest placing competitor of the event, finishing 11th in the Boys 13’s 100m Breaststroke Finals and 12th in the Boys 13’s 50m Breaststroke Finals.
On the final day of competition, some Woy Woy swimmers also had the opportunity to meet with Australian Olympic swimmers Cate and Bronte Campbell.
