Central Coast Mariner, Kye Rowles, has been issued a three game suspension from the independent Match Review Panel (MRP) following a review of his gameplay during the Mariners’ clash with Western Sydney Wanderers. on April 20.
The MRP, convened on April 23 to consider an incident involving Rowles, which resulted in Rowles being issued with a direct Red Card by the referee.
The MRP determined that Rowles committed the offence of “Serious foul play.”
The minimum sanction for the offence is one match, being the Mandatory Match Suspension.
The MRP proposed a sanction of three matches, being the minimum sanction for the offence.
