Bus drivers to assist with Give Me 5 for Kids fundraiser

Busways drivers Glenn Buggy, Ken Farrugia, Terry Hillcoat, Michael Martin and Stephen Laggettie are all taking part in the Give Me 5 For Kids campaign

Busways’ Central Coast drivers are assisting with the Give Me 5 for Kids fundraiser, an initiative to help raise funds for paediatric wards of local hospitals and children’s health related charities.
Over 35 Busways’ drivers are volunteering to have donation buckets on board through the month of June so people can easily donate.
Busways’ driver, Terry Hillcoat, has spearheaded the fundraiser for the company and says he is happy to help where he can.
“I have always wanted to do something for this great cause,” Hillcoat said.
“Anything you can do for kids is really good.
“I hope the Central Coast can jump on board and start donating.
“The more money we raise, the better,” he said.
The Give Me 5 for Kids fundraiser has been running for 25 years this year and has so far garnered just under $26m for hospitals.
The fundraiser relies on the support and generosity of the local communities.
