CareFlight assists man crushed between two vehicles

CareFlight’s rapid response team attended an incident in Wadalba

A 40-year-old man has been flown to hospital after getting crushed between a truck and another vehicle at Wadalba.
CareFlight’s rapid response rescue helicopter was tasked to Wadalba shortly after 12pm, on Wednesday, June 12, landing in a vacant block of land in a nearby new housing estate.
The critical care team arrived to find NSW Ambulance paramedics assisting the man, who was crushed between the tray of a truck and the towbar of a parked four wheel drive vehicle.
CareFlight’s specialist doctor and critical care paramedic provided further treatment at the scene before the man was flown to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition.
