Man seriously injured after falling from a golf buggy

Police are appealing for witnesses or dash cam footage after a man was seriously injured after falling from a golf buggy at Shelly Beach Golf Club
At about 11:40pm on Friday, June 28, three people left the club, travelling in a golf buggy.
After turning on to Grandview St, the golf buggy turned sharply to avoid an unknown vehicle, and a 37-year-old man fell from the cart and hit his head on the roadway.
He was subsequently taken to John Hunter Hospital in a medically induced coma with a possible fractured skull and a bleed on the brain.
Officers from Tuggerah Lakes Police District attended and commenced inquiries.
The driver of the golf buggy, an unknown female, left the scene prior to police attendance.
Another man who was travelling in the golf buggy, aged 52, was spoken to at the scene.
Officers are appealing for the driver, as well as any other witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward and contact police.
