The Entrance Waterfront Boardwalk is now the Tony Sheridan Walkway

Tony Sheridan with Central Coast Mayor, Jane Smith, unveiling the plaque

The Entrance Waterfront Boardwalk has been renamed in honour of Tony Sheridan.
Sheridan was a former Wyong Shire Councillor for 27 years and also served as Shire President and Mayor.
The revitalisation of The Entrance and its transformation into the tourist and economic hub it is today is largely associated with Sheridan.
The boardwalk was officially renamed the Tony Sheridan Walkway on June 15 at a ceremony attended by Sheridan, members of his family, local politicians, council representatives and invited guests, where a commemorative plaque outlining Sheridan’s political career was unveiled.
The renaming was an official council motion resolved in August, 2018.
